Bring it On

I love this baby blanket at www.pickles.no, so I decided to use this pattern but make it a bit less open.

This blanket was made with Bernat Bamboo natural blends in four shades of colors on 10.5 needles. This pattern goes very quickly and is easy and fun.

After you knit (garter stitch) the first four rows:

Row 1: K2 together, K2 together, YO, K1, YO, K1, YO, KI, YO, K2 together, K2 together.

Row 2 - 4: Knit the garter stitch.

Finish with four additional rows of garter stitch.

Mix up the colors anytime you feel like it, but just make sure that you start knitting the new color on row 1. For additional photos and info, check out:

  2. I am new to knitting and really like this pattern with it being less open! I don't see how many stitches to cast on in your instructions?

  3. Hi Amy Beth, Sorry, you are right it doesn't say here how many to CO... check out the "Atom's Birthday Blanket" post for more details. There it says: cast on 77 stitches, or any multiple of 11. Have fun making this blanket!
